These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PookieScroll mobile application, including any related features, content, subscriptions, and services we provide through the app.

PookieScroll is provided by Lionscraft Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (“Lionscraft”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, subscribing to, or using PookieScroll, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About PookieScroll

PookieScroll is a digital wellbeing and screen time self-management app. It helps users understand their own device usage, set personal routines and time limits, and use blocking features to support more intentional phone use.

PookieScroll is not a medical, therapeutic, clinical, emergency, safety-critical, or productivity-guarantee service. It is not a parental-control or child-monitoring service in this version.

2. Eligibility

You may use PookieScroll only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms and use the app in accordance with applicable laws.

PookieScroll is not directed to children. If you are below the age at which you may legally agree to these Terms, you may use PookieScroll only if permitted by your parent or legal guardian and applicable law.

3. Your Use of the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Lionscraft grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PookieScroll on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s applicable terms.

You must not:

• use PookieScroll for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing purposes;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of the app except where applicable law expressly permits this;
• interfere with, damage, or bypass the app’s functionality, security, or subscription controls;
• use the app in a way that violates Apple’s terms, applicable law, or third-party rights;
• use PookieScroll as an emergency, safety-critical, medical, therapeutic, or legally required access-control tool.

4. Screen Time, Routines, and Blocking Features

PookieScroll may allow you to set screen time goals, app limits, routines, or blocking windows. These features depend on Apple’s iOS frameworks, your device settings, app permissions, operating system behaviour, and your own configuration.

PookieScroll uses Apple-provided iOS frameworks to support user-authorized, on-device screen time self-management, but it does not replace, restrict, or charge for Apple’s own built-in Screen Time tools, which users may use separately.

You are responsible for choosing which apps to limit or block, when blocking should apply, and whether any exceptions or emergency access routes are needed.

Blocking features may not always work as expected. They may fail, be delayed, behave differently after iOS updates, depend on Apple permissions, or be affected by changes to your device, settings, apps, or operating system.

You must not rely on PookieScroll to guarantee access to or restriction of any app, service, communication, account, workplace tool, school tool, financial tool, authentication tool, transport tool, emergency service, or other time-sensitive or important function.

PookieScroll is not designed for supervising, monitoring, or controlling another person’s device use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lionscraft is not responsible for any loss, delay, missed communication, missed deadline, work disruption, academic issue, financial issue, travel issue, authentication issue, inability to access an app, or other consequence arising from your use, configuration, malfunction, non-function, or misunderstanding of PookieScroll’s blocking, routine, limit, or screen time features.

5. Subscriptions and Paid Features

PookieScroll may offer free features and paid subscription features. Paid features may include access to blocking functionality and other premium features.

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system using your Apple ID. Lionscraft does not process your payment card details.

The available subscription options may include:

• Monthly subscription: USD $2.99 per month, with a 14-day free trial where available.
• Annual subscription: USD $29.99 per year, with a 14-day free trial where available.

Actual prices may vary by country, currency, tax treatment, storefront, promotion, or Apple pricing tier. The price shown to you in the App Store or purchase screen before confirmation is the applicable price for your purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the price shown to you before purchase confirmation.

Features may vary by device, iOS version, permissions, and Apple framework availability.

6. Refunds

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s applicable App Store policies. Lionscraft cannot directly issue App Store refunds because payments are processed by Apple.

If you have a billing issue, you may contact us at contact@pookiescroll.app, but refund requests may need to be submitted to Apple through Apple’s refund process.

7. Apple Terms

Your use of PookieScroll is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the App Store terms and Apple Media Services terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s mandatory terms for App Store apps, Apple’s terms may apply to the extent required.

Apple is not responsible for providing support or maintenance for PookieScroll. To the extent required by Apple’s terms, Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with PookieScroll. You should read it carefully.

PookieScroll is designed to minimise data collection. In particular, screen time usage data is intended to remain on your device and is not sent to Lionscraft. Limited subscription-related information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat to support purchases and subscription entitlement status.

9. Ownership and Intellectual Property

PookieScroll, including the app, software, code, design, interface, characters, mascots, artwork, icons, names, logos, text, structure, and other content, is owned by Lionscraft or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

“PookieScroll”, “Pookie”, the PookieScroll mascots, and related branding are proprietary to Lionscraft.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, exploit, or create derivative works based on PookieScroll or its content except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

10. User Content and Sharing

PookieScroll does not provide a public posting platform or social network.

The app may allow you to create a local image or mood card and share it using your device’s native sharing features. You are responsible for what you choose to share and where you choose to share it. Lionscraft does not control third-party apps, platforms, or recipients you share content with.

11. Third-Party Services

PookieScroll may rely on third-party services or platforms, including Apple and RevenueCat, to provide app distribution, purchases, subscription management, entitlement status, or operating system functionality.

We are not responsible for third-party services, platforms, terms, policies, outages, delays, or decisions, except to the extent required by applicable law.

12. Updates, Changes, and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue PookieScroll or any feature at any time. We may also change free or paid features, subject to applicable law and Apple’s subscription rules.

We do not guarantee that PookieScroll will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every iOS version, or compatible with every app or device setting.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PookieScroll is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We disclaim all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that PookieScroll will improve your wellbeing, productivity, focus, mental health, work performance, academic performance, or device usage habits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lionscraft and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of use, missed communications, missed deadlines, or consequences of blocked or unavailable app access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lionscraft’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to PookieScroll or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

• the amount you paid to Lionscraft through Apple for PookieScroll in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
• SGD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lionscraft and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to:

• your misuse of PookieScroll;
• your breach of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable law or third-party rights;
• your configuration or use of blocking, routine, or limit features in a way that causes harm to you or another person.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PookieScroll if you breach these Terms, misuse the app, create legal risk for us, or if we are required to do so by law or Apple.

You may stop using PookieScroll at any time. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through your Apple ID account settings to stop future renewals.

Sections intended to survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by updating the date above, posting the new Terms, or providing notice in the app where appropriate.

Your continued use of PookieScroll after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws that may give you mandatory rights in your country of residence, the courts of Singapore will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or PookieScroll.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
